Last day of October, 2012 and I just realized that I haven't written much this particular month. I spent most of my time writing for the corporate necessities than my own. The month that begins in couple of hours from now, shall have my keyboard at its disposal.

A good write, with all its might; in November, 2012.

My Individuality!

My condition in just like this black sheep in the herd.

I have my own individuality and I am proud of that but the rest of the folks want me to become one of them.

Can't you see my black coat?

No matter how much bleach I use, it won't go away, this is who I am.

This is me!

But I am not a sheep.....

It's how I speak!

"If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.

It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth.

It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends.

But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.

For we know only in part, and we prophesy only in part; but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end.

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face.

Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.

And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love."

Don't Work for Free!

This is what my friend told me more than a decade ago. I would agree with him today, more than I ever agreed on it ever till now.

But I will help, if someone requires it!

Tribal of Jharkhand in a Mess...

Atrocities and unjustice is still meted out to the tribal of my home-state Jharkhand. I know that writing here over the blog won't do much but I swear that the day I'll get a chance to put things right for the mass.

I shall do it for the best and better in all my might!

Bachata Basics!

An hour long session of Bachata organized by Madan and Sneha at Bandra is the perfect recipe for my fitness.

Let's see if Yuthika comes along with me or not!

Free Tibet!

I belong to the Santhal tribe from Jharkhand, India. When I look at the burning issue of Tibet, I see the same kind of atrocity being pulled up on my tribe and other tribes across my region.

If we do not support and learn from the past of Tibet and help them for a free nation, we as humans will fail.

Tibet must become free from the oppression of China. It's their right to be free.

Anurag Maloo-A True Teacher

Originally himself, not a carbon copy of someone else, this man is honest, dedicated, friendly, sober, teacher, brother and a definitely a person who is making a difference to the society by committing two years of his life to Teach for India Fellowship at a small low income under resourced Municipal Corporation school in Pune.

Teaching small kids is a difficult task and when one has to make the entire curriculum along with the daily schedule everyday, organising field trips to visit communities from where kids come, taking up school transformation projects to community initiatives to bring sustainable change for the coming years. Yes, it’s a job of mammoth proportion that helps shaping the foundation of the young children, he is imparting knowledge to.

Recently he has been to Pakistan for a Peace Congregation of Youth representing India with few other fellow Indians as an Indian Youth Delegate for South Asian Youth Conference on Peace, Education and Sustainable Development. That is a privilege only a few get, and I envy him for that as well as one more thing.

Sir Robert Swan’s 2041, this is an INSPIRE International Antarctica Expedition for which Anurag Maloo has been chosen. His participation to this particular exploration will equip him with the first hand experience and information about the adverse effect of the greed of human beings on the ice caps of Antarctica. It is important for him to attend it because he can share that experience with his pupils and someday these students will take a cue from him to make the world a better place.

The major purpose of the expedition is to inspire the next generation of leaders to take responsibility, be sustainable, and know that now is the time for action in policy development and sustainable business generation, through the promotion of recycling, renewable energy and sustainability.

Robert Swan's Personal Endorsement Message for Anurag to join him with other world leaders for IAE 2013 Expedition can be viewed at Youtube (5-minute video message on Youtube). Robert Swan and 2041 is also supporting his work, "The Family of Global Volunteers - 2041", a Teach For India classroom and it got listed on 2041's website. His facebook page, Anurag Maloo- IAE 2013 to get the live feeds on or before/after the expedition and the facebook page of The Family of Global Volunteers. Make sure you contribute and support him towards the cause. Please do your bit to make his dream come true.

2041 was founded by polar explorer, environmental leader and public speaker Robert Swan, OBE, the first person in history to walk to both the North and South poles totally unassisted. Swan has dedicated his life to the preservation of Antarctica by the promotion of recycling, renewable energy and sustainability to combat the effects of climate change. In the year 2041 the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty could potentially be modified or amended. Our aim is to work towards the continuing protection of the Antarctic Treaty so that the last great wilderness on earth is never exploited.  For more information  go to

Aim of IAE 2013 - is to create an international youth coalition of Antarctic defenders who will champion renewable energy as their path to saving the continent. They will do so by initiating change in their communities with a larger goal of spreading awareness about Antarctica at an international level. To inspire people to create extraordinary results to preserve our planet through sustainable leadership, team work and personal development.

Aim of 2041- is to work towards the continuing protection of the Antarctic Treaty so that the last great wilderness on earth is never exploited.

It is a life changing experience to the last great wilderness on Earth. Led by Robert Swan, the IAE is designed to engage and inspire the next generation of leaders to take responsibility, be sustainable and know that now is the time for action on sustainable business generation through responsible business management and development.

This “Leadership on the Edge” Program encompasses leadership, the environment, education, and survival, the focus is on sustainable development, improving communication skills, and team building utilizing the experiences of Shackleton, Scott, Amundsen and other early explorers. By enhancing leadership skills, we work to create strategies for successful individual and team development. It is an incredible journey to help inspire change in people to return with a mindset to incorporate sustainable lifestyles using renewable and mixed energy.

About Robert Swan, OBE -

Third Month on Job Continues...

This is the beginning of my 3rd month on the job after which my probation period ends. Unbelievable, but I have completed two months at one place without going anywhere...
